Hi, I'm Roseanna (She/Her). Thank you for being here.

My path into medicine—and into this work—has been shaped by both professional training and personal experience. Growing up in East Los Angeles as the daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico, I became deeply aware of how family, culture, and societal systems shape who we become. Early life adversities were impactful, shaping my sense of resilience and teaching me how profoundly experiences can influence the mind and body.
For much of my early adulthood, I lived with undiagnosed ADHD, learning firsthand how attention, energy, and emotional experience are intertwined with the nervous system. Through trial and error, I discovered how powerful internal narratives form long before we have the language to understand our own minds.

Alongside these formative experiences, nature and travel have been essential sources of grounding and perspective. Spending time outdoors and tending my garden has taught me to slow down, notice patterns, and connect more deeply—to the earth, the seasons, other cultures, and to myself. These practices continue to influence how I work with people: noticing patterns, supporting growth, and creating spaces where reflection and transformation can naturally unfold.

I started my own practice to prioritize long-term relationships with the people I serve. This allows for continuity, trust, and care that feels grounded and meaningful over time.

My clinical work draws on my experience in psychiatry, training in family medicine and public health, and an IFS-informed approach that honors the complexity of the human mind and body. I am currently pursuing certification as a Hakomi Practitioner, exploring how mindfulness and somatic awareness can help people safely engage with and transform the patterns they carry.

I am most interested in the intersection of mental health, physiology, and longevity—helping people move beyond symptom relief toward sustainable well-being across the lifespan. To me, healing isn’t just about reducing symptoms—it’s about building capacity, restoring regulation, and reconnecting with ourselves, with each other, and with the world around us.

Outside of my work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and being with my sweet dog—simple moments that help me stay grounded.
